Spiritual Direction

What is spiritual direction?
Spiritual direction encourages the exploration of a closer relationship with God. In the midst of a busy life, many people find it difficult to notice God’s action in their life.

"May we trust that our deepest desire to move toward holy living is enough."

Spiritual direction can be in the context of a retreat or scheduled on a regular basis throughout the year. Through regular spiritual direction a person can begin to integrate spirituality into their daily life, discern and make difficult choices, and identify God in their experience.

Spiritual direction focuses on a person’s relationship with God and assumes a faith perspective and desire for prayer. Spiritual direction is not counseling.

Who are spiritual directors?
Spiritual directors are people who have specific training in assisting others in their spiritual journey. Usually people meet with a spiritual director once a month for an hour. There is a suggested donation for each session.
